WOGO, a University of Tokyo Startup, Selected for Ehime Prefecture's DX Project “Triangle Ehime 2.0”

WOGO Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a new implementation project for fiscal 2026 under Triangle Ehime 2.0, the digital implementation acceleration project led by Ehime Prefecture.

Under the project WOGO is launching an initiative to develop an AI collision-prevention system for vessels, aimed at Ehime’s maritime industry. Working in Ehime, home to one of Japan’s foremost maritime clusters, and in partnership with Daio Kaiun, Misuka Kaiun and others, we aim to provide round-the-clock AI camera support for safe navigation and to improve working conditions for crews. In vessel DX, a field that until now has existed only for major shipping companies, we are bringing to market an AI system focused on collision prevention for small and mid-sized commercial vessels – a gap that remains unfilled worldwide.
